Try to clean the tank every week. If not, the tank would be filthy and may lead to health problems on your turtle. Make sure that you feed them the turtle diet that they need. In order to have strong shells they must consume foods rich in Vitamin D, protein, as well as calcium. Have them munch on live crickets, vegetables, earthworms, and turtle sticks.

Don't treat them like puppies. They are not the type of pets that can be cuddled and can be passed from one person to another. Turtles are considered as amphibians.
